I Save Money Buying Luxury Items from Amazon

I have an Amazon Prime membership.
If you don’t have an Amazon Prime membership, have you been living under a rock? For only $14.99 a month, I can receive a membership discount at Whole Foods, get free two-day shipping on eligible items, watch videos on Amazon Prime, and more.
I select FREE Amazon Delivery Day.
Another convenient benefit you can take advantage of when you become an Amazon Prime member is you can choose when your items will arrive at your home. Generally, you’ll have two options:
- Prime Delivery – This exclusive option enables Prime members to select the free two-day shipping, and in some cases, next-day shipping is also available for a small fee.
- Amazon Day Delivery – This option gives Prime members the opportunity to receive all of the items in their cart on the same day, with fewer trips and less boxes. It can take longer than the two days Prime members are accustomed to. As a result, Prime members are generally rewarded for their patience when selecting Amazon Day Delivery.
When you select Amazon Delivery Day, the company may reward you with a credit of $1-3 for making good choices. These credits can be applied to any future Amazon purchases and must be selected before checkout to deduct from your total.
With two $3 Amazon credits stored on my account, I was able to apply a $6 credit to my purchase, which was deducted from the total during checkout.
I browse for the best deals.
Unlike your favorite luxury department store, Amazon allows its customers to select the seller they would like to purchase from. Having a Capital One credit card can have its perks, and its Credit Card Rewards Program is one of them. Each time I use my Capital One Quicksilver credit card to make a purchase, I receive cash credited to my account. These credits can be redeemed in the form of a check, applied to my credit card statement, or allocated as points to deduct the cost of my Amazon purchases.
Luckily, I had $5.00 worth of points to redeem, which was deducted from my overall total during checkout.
