Barbie can do anything. From driving in her candy-coated pink convertible to her career as a journalist to flying out of this world to outer space as an astronaut, Barbie has had over 250 inspirational careers — she’s perfect. But in this 2023 Barbie movie release, we learned several of Barbie’s flaws:
- She’s absolutely terrified of change
- She’s “stereotypically” superficial
- She’s self-absorbed and never chooses her partner
- She refuses to wear flat shoes
- She’s completely oblivious to real-world struggles and insecurities
Barbie, starring Margot Robbie, is a magical satirical musical. However, it contains some suggestive themes and visuals, which landed the movie a PG-13 rating.
